Low Impact Exercise
Regular exercise promotes healthy ageing and increases your quality of life. We offer a range of fun classes for those looking for low impact activities.

YOGA GOLD: Ricoh Sports Centre, Wednesdays at 9.30am

PILATES GOLD: Ricoh Sports Centre, Mondays at 9.30am; Thursdays at 10.00am; Fridays at 11.45am;

COST: $60 for 10 classes. 10 trips must be purchased from Huia or Stokes Valley Pool, no door sales. Your first class is free!

The last day of classes for Term 4 is Friday 18th December.
Term 1 classes will commence in 2021 on Monday 11th January. All classes will be back to normal on this starting date.

Inclusive Group Fitness Classes for disabled adults (intellectual & physical) catering for all abilities & fitness levels.

Join us for a 45 minute dance-based session, followed by morning tea.

Minimovers
Get your little ones moving! We offer early movement sessions using fun, music, sports and play! These sessions are appropriate for tamariki Under 5 who have started walking.

Play in the Hutt
We want to get our community PLAYING again! Play in the Hutt is a movement kick-starting action on play locally and nationally. Play is vital for our health and happiness - we want to get our kids out exploring and being active.

Pilates is fantastic for well-being, we want to make this activity more accessible in the community.

We offer classes, suitable for all abilities at the following location:

STOKES VALLEY: Koraunui Hub, Thursdays 6pm. $5 per class (cash only), BYO Mat - your first class is FREE!

We hope to expand this offering to more locations in future!

Community Programs Under Covid-19 Alert Levels
​
ALERT LEVEL 1 - All community programming and events will proceed at Alert Level 1.
​
ALERT LEVEL 2 - Everybody Dance Now Classes are SUSPENDED at Alert Level 2.
All Community Yoga, Pilates & Low Impact Classes will proceed at Alert Level 2.
​
In order to keep everyone safe the following will be enforced, under Alert Level 2 at class:
​
- Covid-19 QR Posters on display at all venues - please scan on entry
- You must sign in to class
- 1m physical distancing enforced at all times. To assist with this class numbers may be restricted. We encourage you to arrive early to avoid disappointment. Entry will operate on a first in first served basis.
- If applicable to your class, BYO mat is encouraged, however there will be mats available at all venues (apart from Stokes Valley) to use at no cost. It is compulsory to clean your mats with the materials provided after class.
- Sanitiser & handwashing facilities are available on-site, please maintain good hand hygiene!
- Please, if you are unwell, stay home

Active in the Hutt
Community Sports Banks
Hutt City Council, in collaboration with the Wellington City Mission are proud to have supported the opening of four community sports banks in our city. The aim of the Community Sports Bank Project is to reduce and eliminate the cost of equipment for those in need. Through collection and redistribution of sports gear, this project aims to increase participation.
