Low Impact Exercise
Regular exercise promotes healthy ageing and increases your quality of life. We offer a range of fun classes for those looking for low impact activities.
STRETCH & FLEX: Ricoh Sports Centre, Mondays, 10.45am;
YOGA GOLD: Ricoh Sports Centre, Wednesdays at 9.30am
CHAIR YOGA: Woburn Apartments, Wednesdays at 11.15am
ZUMBA GOLD: Moera Hall, Fridays at 9.30am
CARDIO & TONING: Woburn Apartments, Fridays at 11.30am
COST: $6 per class - your first class is free!
Community Yoga Classes
Yoga is fantastic for well-being, we want to make this activity more accessible for our community. We offer classes for all abilities at the following locations:
WAINUIOMATA: Wainuiomata Memorial Hall, Tuesdays at 6.45pm. $5 per class - your first class is free!
PETONE: Heretaunga Boat Club, Tuesdays at 6.30pm (koha class)
LOWER HUTT: Hutt Rec Grandstand (Long Room), Thursdays at 6.30pm. $5 per class - your first class is free! NO CLASS on Thursday 6th Feb due to Waitangi Day.
TAITA: Walter Nash Centre, Thursdays at 6.15pm (gold coin entry). NO CLASS on Thursday 6th Feb due to Waitangi Day, or Thursday 9th April due to venue being unavailable
Get your little ones moving! We offer early movement sessions using fun, music, sports and play! These sessions are appropriate for tamariki Under 5 who have started walking.

Play in the Hutt
We want to get our community PLAYING again! Play in the Hutt is a movement kick-starting action on play locally and nationally. Play is vital for our health and happiness - we want to get our kids out exploring and being active.
