Bike the Trail

Bike the Trail has been postponed until November 2022. Check out for future updates

Bring your family and friends along for this iconic annual event and join us as we cycle down the Hutt River Trail.

Begin your 25km adventure from Harcourt Park in Upper Hutt to Hikoikoi Reserve, Seaview.

Then relax, soak in the sunshine and perhaps get an ice-cream before taking free return transport back to your start location.

Don’t want to go all the way?  We have new 12km loop from Harcourts Park to Poets park and back, just fun!

Bike the Hutt

A ten day festival of cycling fun, entertainment and competition took place across the Hutt Valley in February-March 2021. Participants wheeled around over 20 events, ranging from kids racing, to the ever popular Bike the Trail family day out, cyclocross, road cycling, mountain bike dual slalom and the rugged Karapoti mountain bike classic to top it all off.

Senior Regional Games

Let's celebrate positive ageing! The Senior Regional Games is an annual event that provides older adults the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun, light-exercise activities, such as badminton, cornhole, dancing, indoor bowls, table tennis, walking netball and more in a safe environment. Not designed as a competitive event, this day is all about having fun and focusing on what our bodies can do, not what they can’t!

The 2022 Senior Regional Games are set to take place Tuesday, 8 November between 10 am- 2 pm at ASB Sports Centre, Kilbirnie.

If you or someone you know would like to participate in this event, head to the Nuku Ora website to register

Pups Parade & Paddle

In March we had an evening of four-legged fun!

200 dogs & owners joined us to walk Black Creek and swim in the pool!

Thanks to Masterpet & Black Hawke for their generous support of this event. All Koha proceeds went to support the work of HUHA.

Keep an eye on this page for the 2022 event date!
